Case Study: On Purpose

In April 2011, the non-profit organization, On Purpose, reached out to San Clemente Website Design for their web maintenance needs. Their website is built almost entirely in Flash, so SCWD utilized Flash, XML and Action Script to manage updates.

Case Study: Paddle2Live

Just a few weeks before Jack Shimko entered the water for his 260-mile paddle from Point Conception to Newport Beach, Paddle2Live contacted San Clemente Website Design to help with their 2011 website. P2L had already partnered with Surfline to program the TracPlus system for Jack’s real time progress on his journey to raise awareness for cancer. SCWD was responsible for implementing Jack’s design, creating a Twitter ticker and updating the website daily with the latest videos. Paddle2Live (P2L) 2011 is a series of three official John Wayne Cancer Foundation (JWCF) fundraising events.
