George Parra’s seafood restaurant,
Pacific Seafood Grill, was preordained. As
a kid, George started making ceviche and
became so good at it that he started noticing
he’d be invited to parties and asked to bring
his famous fresh fish creations. “I love cooking with fish,” said Parra, 33, who along with
his wife, Leslie, 30, opened the business in the
Old City Plaza two weeks ago. “I’m an angler
and we always cook what we catch.”
The Parras’ restaurant holds the spot where Adele’s once was, and features indoor and patio dining. The menu features a variety of plates, from appetizers, to three ceviche choices (shrimp, mahi mahi and daily specials) to sandwiches, salads and entrees. There also is a kids menu and specials for “landlubbers.”
“I would describe Pacific Seafood Grill as being casual dining at reasonable prices,” said George Parra, who also offers a variety of beers and wine. The couple lives in San Clemente with their two young children, Baylin, 4, and Collin, 2.
